Jen grew up on a farm outside of Osseo, Wisconsin (not to be confused with Osseo, Minnesota). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and went on to complete her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 2011.

She has spent over 22 years in healthcare at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Throughout her career, Jen has had a strong interest in pediatric care. As an RN, she gained experience across multiple settings, including a Neuro/Pediatric/Trauma unit, a newborn nursery/postpartum unit, and a Level II Special Care Nursery. For the past 10 years, she has worked in an outpatient pediatric clinic, caring for thousands of infants, children, and young adults. She is board-certified to care for patients of all ages, with clinical interests in infant care, wellness and well-child visits, asthma, mental health, and adolescent health, including contraception counseling.

Jen joined Wayzata Children’s Clinic in 2024 after recently getting married and welcoming a baby in the summer of 2025. Her husband grew up in Minnetonka, and both have family in the area. While they enjoy traveling and exploring new places, they are Midwesterners at heart and value living in a region with distinct seasons. In their free time, they enjoy running, hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, and participating in races and outdoor activities.

They share their home with their beloved cat, Miss Millie, and are excited about growing their family in the future. Jen is thrilled to join the Wayzata team, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and families and supporting children as they grow and thrive.
